By creating an account or using CollegeCove, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and not share your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Each account should represent one individual.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access CollegeCove content
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the site's operation

CollegeCove aggregates publicly available data from the U.S. Department of Education and other government sources. We are not an official government source. School matches and safety scores are suggestions based on reported data — they are not guarantees. You should verify information directly with schools before making enrollment decisions.

All content, design, and code on CollegeCove is owned by CollegeCove or its licensors. You retain ownership of any personal content you submit (such as saved schools and profile preferences). By using the site, you grant us a limited license to use your content solely to provide the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, all associated data is permanently removed.

CollegeCove is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed $100.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Illinois.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
